@IlusEvansD21 @daburakuna A lot of people claim he did Megumi dirty by cutting down his growth to have Sukuna posses him although imo he always remained impactful. My only complain was Gege not clearing his status properly in modulo.

Or let her go bc he feared his curse will consume her or he felt he will succumb to emotions similar to how he was before he became strongest. Sukuna forgot his humanity and realized he really wasn't a curse. This chap sums up the difference between a curse and a human.
