Hi friends,
We’ve just launched our Rocket’s Mewtwo ex Competitive Guide.
If you’re interested in learning how to pilot Rocket’s Mewtwo ex with more clarity and precision, you can check it out here: metafy.gg/guides/view/ro…
Metafy account: Rivalstcg
Rocket’s Mewtwo ex is a deck built around its own unique Rocket engine, giving it access to strong search, disruption, gust, and explosive damage from the very first turn. With Rocket’s Supporters and Transceiver chains, the deck can consistently find the exact pieces it needs, whether that means setting up early pressure, disrupting the opponent, or assembling a big Mewtwo turn.
What makes the deck especially strong is its flexibility. It can hit extremely high damage numbers with Mewtwo, pivot into efficient alternate attackers like Spidops, and transition naturally between ex and non-ex board states to create better prize trades.
That said, Rocket’s Mewtwo ex is not an easy deck to pilot well. Its lines are often less obvious than more linear decks, and strong results usually come down to sequencing, planning, and understanding how to use its toolkit efficiently in each matchup.
This guide was made to help bridge that gap.
We hope you find it helpful in your games, and do let us know your feedback. We’d love to hear your thoughts!

Hi friends,
We’ve just launched our Mega Lucario ex Competitive Guide!
If you’re interested in learning how to push Mega Lucario ex beyond the basics, you can check it out here: metafy.gg/guides/view/me…
Metafy account: Rivalstcg
Mega Lucario ex is a deck with a very low barrier to entry, but a surprisingly high ceiling. While most players can pick it up quickly, mastering the deck requires a much deeper understanding of prize trades, board management, attack timing, and sequencing.
This guide was made to help bridge that gap.
We hope you find it helpful in your games, and do let us know your feedback. We’d love to hear your thoughts!

Over the years, we’ve both been competitive Pokémon TCG players and have each earned 10 Pokémon World Championships invites. T
hrough countless discussions about decks, matchups, and competitive decision making, we’ve always enjoyed breaking down the strategic side of the game.
Rather than focusing only on deck lists, we wanted to share how competitive games are actually navigated: things like sequencing, prize mapping, resource management, and how different matchups play out in practice.
As a starting point, we’ve put together a Charizard “Dawnzard” Competitive Guide Preview, where we walk through two matchups:
* Gardevoir ex
* Gholdengo ex
With rotation coming next month, we’re looking forward to putting together new guides for the upcoming format.
