Team Maximus worked together in teams to brainstorm class expectations! We then used those to create our 1 class rule! @LCS_BC @BIS_principal

Today students gave a peer feedback about their narrative writing. Next step is for them to use the feedback given to them to make their writing stronger! They did a great job! @BIS_principal @MrsMartin_BIS @LCS_BC

@rivam12 Yes! You just have to say “Used by permission of Gordon Korman and Harper Audio,” and take everything down by June 30th. Happy reading!

@gordonkorman I am a 5th grade teacher and we were in the middle of reading Criminal Destiny when school was closed. Can I read aloud to my students using google classroom?

Using what I’ve learned from Empower for Social studies. Only requirement is that they need to explore an open ended question! Created a class list to help get started but they are not limited to that list @BIS_principal @MrsMartin_BIS @LCS_BC #exploreBIS

@Mrs_Conover That’s awesome! Some of my students read Refugee for their book groups this month. I need to research some read aloud options for SS!

@rivam12 I’m reading Amal Unbound in ELA right now which ties in a lot to our curriculum but I’m going to read the Syrian refugee from Refugee in SS and allow the kids to read the other POVs on their own! ❤️

@MuellerHolly Yes! Read aloud is my favorite part of the day and a lot of my students as well! 2 weeks ago my students begged me to just read aloud the whole class period...so I did! They couldn’t wait to finish the book.

This year we are learning about gov’t & economics by playing a game! Ss created their own countries and have to obtain resources to build cities and feed their citizens. They are learning about trade, specialization and consequences of decisions! @BIS_principal @MrsMartin_BIS
