the future of neobanks is vertical niche use cases. the era of launching a neobank for the general public populous is coming to an end. unless you already have a massive brand or existing distribution it's incredibly difficult to reach the scale necessary to make it work. and by niche i don't mean targeting a geography like LATAM. every neobank and their grandma wants a chunk of the LATAM market. i mean niche industries. neobanks for: > dental clinics (built in insurance claims) > record labels (royalty and rights management) > auto body shops (built in insurance claims) i think we'll either see more industry specific neobanks like these. or... the neobank becomes a feature instead of the product. the core product might be a marketplace or a software product and banking features like cards, yield, treasury, and ACH accounts will simply act as CAC/retention features what other examples do you guys think we'll see?
