We are shining a light on Severn Freewheelers, a charity of volunteers who support our patients by transporting blood, medicines, samples and breast milk around the local area.🏍
In 2024 the incredible team carried out 2,180 trips and 2025 is looking set to be another busy year.
@GWH_NHS This Christmas the staff in the Children’s Emergency Unit have chosen to sponsor a guide dog puppy rather than send cards or secret Santa presents at work. Meet Jack, our lovely puppy who we will update you about through the year!

The CEU opened its doors at 8am this morning, and is the next stage in our Integrated Front Door programme, following the recent opening of our new Emergency Department.
Not everyone’s cup of tea a 0630 alarm for a trail half on a Saturday, but for sure it is a great way to start a weekend! Thank you for a supportive family who get up with me!
Counting down until the opening of the new Children’s Emergency Unit @GWH_NHS ! The team are working really hard to make this happen behind the scenes, a big thank you to all!
