@GuillemBalague @JacquiOatley And by losing, their opponents on Thursday also have to look over their shoulders in the league when they probably thought they were safe last week.

On #AVFC The great strategists see beyond the next battle Unai has prioritisised Thursday (2-3 points could be enough for top 5) I will be honest: I thought fans were going to sing about Europe at the end but half of the stadium left before the five minutes of injury time Hopefully, everything will make sense at this time on Thursday

This Villa performance is bordering on corrupt. Surely the @premierleague need to have an investigation into this. Damages the integrity of the competition.

@MailSport Not a good look but he is doing what he thinks is best for his club with a big European game on Thursday. Like it or not he is looking after Villa.

'Absolutely STINKS': Angry fans claim Unai Emery's second-string line-up against Spurs 'needs investigating' for 'integrity' issues - as relegation rivals West Ham and Nottingham Forest pay the price for hosts' 'abysmal' display trib.al/EAyZFHs

Leeds United closer to European places than relegation. Things looking up rather than down for Leeds. What a job Daniel Farke has done since half-time at the Etihad. #LUFC

Several times this morning the BBC Today sports reporter has suggested Millwall last played in the "Premier League" in 1990. No they didn't. In 1990 the top level in football was called Division One of the Football League.

If you vote Reform on 7th May you won’t get rid of the PM or Labour. But what you will do is subject your local council to become a shambles like Staffordshire & Kent. You'll be directly impacted by worse local services. If you want to do something for yourself don’t vote Reform

Fiona Bruce, "So you don't need to state that, I think, to our audience, but he was given a gift of £5 million and did not declare it" "And when Labour, when Keir Starmer was given a gift of a couple of suits and some glasses, reform jumped up and down about that. Zia Yusuf, "So let me ask you a question. Let me answer your question directly because you are insinuating. Hold on, let me answer that question directly because there is clearly an insinuation here that Nigel has broken the rules" "Let's be crystal clear about it. I don't know if you've actually read the code of conduct, Fiona" Fiona Bruce, "Well, of course I have" Zia Yusuf, "Okay, fine. So if you have read it, then you will know that chapter three, section 25 makes crystal clear that members must not do not register interests under the category of those benefits that do not have any relation to their business in the House. The House being the House of Commons. That gift was. It was an unconditional gift for Nigel's private purposes before he even considered becoming an MP" Fiona Bruce, "It also says, bigger than a trade quote, simply not the case. The possible motive of the giver and the use to which the gift is to be put should be considered. If there's any doubt. Mhm. The benefit should be" Zia Yusuf, "And there is no doubt. Because again, let me be crystal clear. Chapter three, section 25. Look, I'm literally giving you the relevant sections of the code of conduct that are in play here" "Nigel has done absolutely nothing wrong"

Gent in yellow, "I'm an engineer, a scientist by background, and what I really care about is energy" "And that's one of these things which I feel has been turned into a culture war" "So let me say one thing" "We know that heat pumps, insulation, EVs, etc can save half your energy usage" "It's a massive difference" "And Iran, while, and this is not just about climate change, we can use as a strategic reserve" "We can use that oil for aviation or AI data centres" "But we've got politicians here on the table today, I believe, who deny these facts" "And why should we platform you when we can save that money? The energy. The money" "And this also means that we're not paying the oil money to Russia, which uses it to strike Ukraine every day, and we pay again for defence missiles" "So it's a very serious question. And this is the science, this is the fact. You cannot say that that does not save half the energy."

So poor today against (let's be honest) a dreadful Tottenham side. Same tactics deployed again that have failed over and over, with a big boot up to poor Adam Armstrong to compete against blokes who he had no chance of winning physical battles with.

Wolves have now failed to score in 18 Premier League matches this season, last failing to score in more games in a league season in 2000-01 (19). The only top-flight seasons they’ve had more games without scoring are 1981-82 (20) and 1983-84 (22). 🤷 #WWFC | #Wolves

#wwfc | #WOLTOT Despite facing a fragile opponent, Wolves still found a way to lose. Little attacking intent three games on the spin against sides who are all in relegation battles. The upped second half intensity won’t paper over the cracks of another clueless performance.

@NathanJudah No pace and absolutely no threat going forward. Purely hoping to hold on. Last season we had Cunha who could do something out of nothing. This season is just nothing!
