Sadly the rumors are true. At G2, we love Rocket League, not only because this is a great game to watch, but also this team has been our first step in North America as an organization and we always received immense support from the fans. Unfortunately, the support we get from the publisher and the tournament organizer of this scene only covers 20% of the costs to operate a Tier1 roster. If we don’t find a replacement for our main partner from last season, it would become impossible for G2 to continue in this ecosystem. We want to be honest with the players and their coach and informed them of the situation, to let them explore other options if we can’t find a new partner in time for the new season. They have been great to us and deserve to compete at the highest level no matter what. We’re still in touch with potential partners that could help us save G2 Rocket League. And I sincerely hope that one brand would realize the fantastic opportunity to endorse the NA Avengers in Rocket League.
