@SimonHoiberg I’d suggest pfsense for firewall, keycloak for idp and you’re gonna have to bite the bullet to buy a large ssd storage array.

I'm moving off the cloud. I started earlier this year, and I'm now 80% done. ✅ It's saving me tens of thousands. ✅ It's giving me vendor freedom. ✅ It's making my lifetime offer more viable. The problem is... I'm now stuck. AWS still owns me on the last 20%. And I'm not sure I can ever get these last services "off the cloud". What are they? ❌ Storage. ❌ User auth. ❌ Firewall. I tried my best, but these are incredibly difficult to self-host. Let me explain why 👇 Do you have any suggestions? Maybe I missed something! If you know how to get these last 20% "off the cloud", please tell me about it.
