$NIO GEX — Negative gamma on both sides. $5 is the magnet, $7 is the accelerant.
At $6, price is floating in negative gamma territory between the two biggest strikes on the chart. Below at $5, the largest positive gamma concentration at ~240K acts as a mechanical floor — dealers buy dips toward it. But that is 17% below current price.
Above at $7, the deepest negative gamma at ~-200K means any rally into that level gets met with dealer selling that compounds the move back down. That is a ceiling reinforced by mechanics.
Between $5 and $7, scattered negative gamma at $5.50-$6.50 means moves carry without friction in either direction.
Verdict: compressed between $5 support and $7 resistance, but with a negative gamma bias. Dealers are not helping in this range. $5 catches you, $7 rejects you. Break either side and the move extends.

Metals are selling due to recent parabolic moves but the $SPY and $QQQ are holding very well above their 50 Day MA during this Earnings Season and this Fed Chair announcement today

$NIO Has not moved for 2 weeks!!
Even though retail is shorting aggressively again, $NIO price has been consolidating around $5 for weeks—something pretty unusual for this stock.
The reason is simple: Institutions are back on this stock. As you can see in the picture, institutional ownership of $NIO spiked in December, ending the decline tendency of the past months.
This coincides with my thesis that $NIO is finally close to something valuable and its technicals support it.
Currently, we are at the end of Wave 2, where price consolidates and weak hands are shaken—usually when Big Institutions come in to take advantage of those weak shareholders.
I think that is what is happening right now. $NIO is combining every single factor that signals a major upward movement...

Since Bill posted this, and everyone is going crazy about 'may I meet you', here is my advice to men:
If you see a woman you’d like to ask out, just walk up to her, look her in the eyes, and say: “You’re so freaking beautiful.” She’ll most likely melt and say thank you with a smile. Then ask her out. If her body language and eyes react like she just saw an alligator, end the conversation there.

I hear from many young men that they find it difficult to meet young women in a public setting. In other words, the online culture has destroyed the ability to spontaneously meet strangers. As such, I thought I would share a few words that I used in my youth to meet someone that I found compelling. I would ask: “May I meet you?” before engaging further in a conversation. I almost never got a No. It inevitably enabled the opportunity for a further conversation. I met a lot of really interesting people this way. I think the combination of proper grammar and politeness was the key to its effectiveness. You might give it a try. And yes, I think it should also work for women seeking men as well as same sex interactions. Just two cents from an older happily married guy concerned about our next generation’s happiness and population replacement rates.
