Asked Will Bolt on his reaction to Nebraska Softball winning the Big Ten Tournament title: "Thought it was kind of a formality that they were gonna win... they've been so dominant all year... Proud of Husker Softball, Rhonda, and their entire staff" @KETV I #Huskers

@baldguy_58 @HuskerMike28 May I ask why? This is a great event for Lincoln. It brings in people from all over the country. There have been races with runners from every state in the past. It's very well run and I'm pretty sure all participants agree

@HuskerMike28 Not just for that reason, the Lincoln marathon is a disgrace. It's just a bad race.

@HuskerMike28 It hasn't finished in the stadium for years. University won't allow it. I never found finishing in an empty stadium all that fun anyway. Who wants to finish without a crowd? Never understood why that was so popular

I saw the picture of the marathon runners attending Mass in short shorts and tank tops I just gotta say To me, they went against the first commandment i.e to not put "strange gods" above the one true God If the runners had always intended on going to Mass before the Marathon, they could've planned more church appropriate clothing the night before, or brought a change of clothes and changed in the bathroom But they put the marathon above God and did not give Him the respect He deserves It's really sad and disheartening.

Imagine watching this Strikeout from a helicopter? During the first few innings of the #Huskers Baseball game today vs. USC a Nebraska-themed helicopter made a few pretty low passes over Haymarket Park. Cool perspective I bet... ⚾️

@stevemagness This won't last much longer with roster limits due to revenue share essentially eliminating walk-ons which historically have produced some elite athletes. This is true for all Olympic sports

You know why America does well in track and field? It keeps more talent in the pipeline for longer than other countries thanks to the high school and NCAA system. Europe loses lots of talent in club based systems, especially post HS. They miss the late bloomers which US keeps.

@JennMGreenberg 1. Even Martin Luther defended this belief. 2. Mary's purity represents what our experience in Heaven will be like 3. Jesus gave Mary to us as our Mother "Behold your mother" so it doesn't make sense she would have other earthly children catholic.com/magazine/onlin…

I never understood the purpose of this doctrine. Obviously Mary was a virgin when she had Jesus, but why must she remain perpetually so? Especially when the Bible talks about Jesus’s brothers. She was married to Joseph and sex within marriage is good, not sinful.
Michael Knowles@michaeljknowles

When it comes to the perpetual virginity of Mary, do you agree with the Catholic view or with the view of Protestant reformers Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, and John Wesley?
