In his second career start, Brandon Sproat was excellent: 6 IP, 6 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K. Sproat threw just 70 pitches, so his exit here will certainly be questioned if the Mets lose this game. Nonetheless, Carlos Mendoza is turning to his lefty in a one-run game.

I lost our Fantasy Football league so I’m here completing the Waffle House challenge.
