A lot of people posting about Rafael Luque and the role of ChatGPT in his prodigious output. But what I don't see enough of is the discussion of #Elsevier in enabling all of this. The vast majority of his 2023 papers are published by Elsevier journals. #PredatoryPublishing

Very happy that the long, long, long, long, long overdue day when the published results of all @NIH funded research is immediately freely available to everyone who can benefit from it. Kudos to the @NIH for making this happen, and eternal curses to the scientific societies, publishers and research 'leaders' who spent 30 years wielding their influence to block this, for the immeasurable harm to scientific progress and public trust in science they have wrought.
