@XFreeze This is NOT realistic!!
It is ‘perfection’ and does not exist in the real world. All you are doing is psychologically damaging NORMAL young girls … probably for life … about ‘body image’!
… but I am sure you will make some money with it🤑💷

The type of crude oil found in an North Sea basin is too ’sour’ (it has too much sulphur in it) for the majority of UK refineries. To correct this makes our refineries inefficient and un-economic.
So in reality, we would simply sell this 'North sea oil' on the ‘open market’ to organisations that can refine ‘sour’ crude.
We would then simply use the cash to buy ‘sweet’ crude in the market. So what on earth would we achieve? There is nothing more dangerous than a badly informed idiot put in charge of something important. And I have to say, I think that is the description of the whole of the current UK government!

Why pay for over the top parking charges when you can park free even a parking ticket is cheaper

NCP has gone into administration.
They’ve been running car parks since 1931, and somehow ended up £305m in debt.
Surely the maintenance for a car park is simple: ticket machines, barriers, lights, and occasional cleaning.
How can a business model literally based on people paying to park go bankrupt?

Watch the Reform UK's James Orr humiliate himself on #BBCQT
James Orr, "When the wind doesn't blow, you need gas to back it up and sometimes the wind doesn't blow"
Fiona Bruce asks how drilling helps us is oil and gas are traded on the international market
James Orr, "Prices are fixed internationally but a portion of them is connected to"
Caroline Lucas, "It really isn't. It's sold on international markets to the highest bidder"
James Orr, "That's not true.. Bills are higher because of unreliable renewables"
Caroline Lucas, "They are not unreliable. All we need are interconnectors so when its not windy in this country you import the wind power from somewhere else"
"I just despair at the kind of lies James, you are telling to people"
James Orr, "These are not lies"
Caroline Lucas, "They are"

@Kerrydale67 @afneil In other words…. we would have to sell it on the open market and buy crude that could be processed ‘economically’ in the UK?
English

@rnholl @bonafideYT @afneil There is no uniform North Sea crude but jt tends to be slightly sour ie contains sulphur..Most refining capacity in the UK is not set up to handle a lot of sulphur.
English

He wants to deploy UK forces we don’t have to keep oil and gas flowing 3,000 miles away but forbids any new investment in our sector of the North Sea. Bonkers.

English

@bonafideYT @afneil As far as I know … North Sea crude oil cannot actually be used in UK petroleum processing plants for chemical reasons, etc. wrong type of crude …. 🥴🤢

Where to even begin with Zack Polanski’s disastrous appearance on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg?
The Green Party leader slithered onto the BBC set like a man convinced he’s the messiah of the eco-left, only to spew a torrent of pie-in-the-sky nonsense that would make even the most ardent utopian blush.
Let’s dissect this delusion-fest, shall we?
First off, Polanski’s grand proclamation that the Greens are the “party of the 99%” is nothing short of laughable hubris. As if a fringe outfit with a handful of MPs and a membership barely scraping 175,000 could represent the vast majority of Brits, while conveniently ignoring the fact that most of that “99%” are too busy paying bills to indulge in his virtue-signaling fantasies.
He babbles about “positive politics” and “hope,” but it’s all abstract drivel masquerading as policy tangible ideas?
Please. This is the same guy peddling rent controls handed over to local mayors, as if capping rents won’t just scare off landlords, shrink housing supply, and turn cities into even bigger affordability nightmares.
Delusional doesn’t even cover it, it’s economic illiteracy wrapped in green ribbon.
Then there’s his unhinged rant on Gaza, accusing the Labour government of “actively arming a genocide” that’s supposedly “been going on for years now.”
Kuenssberg rightly called him out for stirring division in a by-election with a large Muslim population, but Polanski doubles down, insisting he’s not “making an issue” of it while simultaneously weaponizing it for votes.
This isn’t leadership, it’s cynical opportunism, exploiting tragedy to score points against the establishment.
And for a party that claims to be about unity and hope?
Hypocritical garbage that exposes the Greens as just another divisive echo chamber, alienating anyone who dares question their moral absolutism.
Don’t get me started on his personal hypocrisy. The man who proudly declares he doesn’t fly because, you know, saving the planet one virtue at a time, admits he’d hop on a plane “obviously” if he snagged high office.
So, rules for thee but not for me? Classic elite environmentalism: preach sacrifice to the masses while exempting yourself when it suits.
Polanski’s dreams of winning a general election “outright” are the cherry on top of this absurdity cake.
With four MPs and a track record of electoral irrelevance, this isn’t ambition, it’s straight-up fantasy, detached from any reality where voters prioritize competence over cultish idealism.
In short, Polanski’s interview was a masterclass in self-delusion, confirming the Green Party as a sideshow of sanctimonious slogans and unworkable policies.
If this is the best the “party of the 99%” has to offer, the other 1% must be rolling in laughter. I certainly am scoffing at this Marxist tw@t.

I am not saying things like drug addiction in some poor foreign land aren’t distressing and should be addressed … I just don’t think it is primarily our problem … and even if we wrung our hands and wailed about morality … we wouldn’t’ make an iota of difference in the big scheme of things😒
Best we can do is focus on becoming a successful economy thus enabling our governments to make meaningful funds available to International Aid organisations.

English

@rnholl @implausibleblog Not mentioned. There’s legalised drugs, open borders, Gaza , but maybe the third world is ok with pot holes as long as they get their heroin and halal meat . Fair enough if that’s your priority, you need a voice .

Naga Munchetty, "The Urdu leaflet is an issue"
"The leaflet features Keir Starmer, alongside the Indian PM Modi, and Deputy PM David Lammy along with Israeli PM Netanyahu"
"Translation: Labour must be punished for Gaza. We have to defeat Reform to give Muslims a strong voice. Give your votes to the Greens"
"Are those messages and is that leaflet appropriate?"
Zack Polanski, "I'd say anything else is highly inappropriate"
"We've had an ongoing genocide for the last couple of years"
"We've got our own government not just complicit but actively enabling a genocide through the sharing or arms, intelligence"
"And I think people in this country whether they're Muslim, or Jewish, as I am myself, or even people without faith, can recognise that human rights and international law are important"
"We've got a Labour government where Keir Starmer who went out on national TV and said that Israel has the right to cut off water and electricity from the Palestinians"
"He said that's not what he meant, but Emily Thornberry went out the same day and doubled down on it"
"I think it's right that in a democracy we point out the record of this Labour government and we challenge them on it and say that's not rights and its time to end the genocide"
Naga Munchetty, "This has been described as a sectarian approach to campaigning. You think that is appropriate"
"I think it's totally appropriate"
"People are allowed to communicate with different communities about those things communities care about"
"But I also think there is an underlying racism of people saying if you're talking about Gaza you're just appealing to a Muslim community"
"I'm one of just five Jewish people who have been in leadership positions in British politics"
"I deeply care about Palestinians, in the same way I care about the Sudanese, Iranian, or anyone facing occupation, conflict, genocide"
"I think it's important to be morally consistent on that"
Charlie Stayt, "A lot of people think those leaflets are the nasty side of politics"
Zack Polanski, "Genocide is quite nasty"
"And I think speaking up for human rights and peace is the only appropriate position"
"And it's quite wild that our British political system got to a place where the Green party is the only party doing that"
"I think that's why we're winning elections, because people are saying if the party is offering to tackle the cost of living crisis and is showing moral consistency in international human rights law"
"That's probably a party worth voting for"

@PeterStefanovi2 As always …. I am mildly curious as to what they are proposing to ACTUALLY ‘change” us into?

🚨 BREAKING: SecWar Pete Hegseth reveals that after IMMENSE pressure, Scouting America — formerly the Boy Scouts — has CAVED to demands they go back to separating males and females in showers, tents and intimate spaces
They're also OVERTURNING woke, DEI policies
BOOM! This is COMMON SENSE.
"Scouting America will modify its policy to make clear that membership will be based solely on biological sex at birth and not gender identity."
"Scouting will also make clear that biological boys and girls will not be allowed to occupy or share intimate spaces together. Toilets, showers, tents, anywhere like that."
"Scouting America will honor those who serve by waiving the registration fees for children of active duty, guard, and reserve families. Should have happened a long time ago."
"Scouting America will introduce a new military service merit badge."
"Scouting America's leadership committed to, in that room right over there, will hopefully result in a rededication to the foundational ideals that have defined Scouting for generations. Duty to God and country, leadership, character, and service."
"This agreement is new, and the Department's support for Scouting America is contingent on them making substantial progress toward reaching these and many other positive changes in the next six months."
