$OTOME is a monkey who grew up in the exact same zoo as punch in 2008. They had a very similar story, she came in young, scared, abandoned and with a plushie they called Rilakka. She went extremely viral then and grew up to have 4 kids, and 4 grand kids. The Ichikawa Zoo eventually took her plushie from her when she was old enough and now display it in a case that reads “I’ve finished raising her.” Otome is now 18 years old and is a grandma who serves as an example and role model for punch and all the other monkeys.
