@hhrvoje RoPieee is an appliance, and as such not meant to be 'tinkered' with. I have been thinking about providing an option to down clock the Pi.... can you give me an example of which parameters you would like to set?

@ro_pieee any way to down clock Rpi running RopieeeXL? Tried SSH, but nano not installed (even apt-get doesn't exists!), can't edit /boot/config.txt

@HugoEmerit Yes, before 2023.02 RoPieee only supported Airplay 1. Besides sample rate the biggest advantage of Airplay 2 is proper grouping.

Hello @ro_pieee, on the 2023.02 release changelog, you mention « NEW: [XL] add support for Airplay 2 ». Do you mean that before it was Airplay 1 and then we can now stream higher res files?

@SrWhen Well, that requires someone to have that model and send me feedback so I can patch the kernel (if necessary). Do you have such a device?

@ro_pieee I see the Denafrips Ares is supported for Native DSD decoding, have you considered adding Ares 2 to the list? Or is it already supported? Thanks!

@ro_pieee Yes, it's a cool product. I went back pi3-2022.5.1 which worked (so does Raspberian), and then went back to pi3-2022.6.4 which does not work - ipaddress show up as "unknow", and as ssh now is disabled it's difficult to troubleshoot. My RPi4 still works though ;-)

@formdissolve New DAC's work out of the box. The list you probably refer to is about 'native DSD' specifically. Is that what you mean?

Listening to music a lot this weekend thanks to @roonlabs and @ro_pieee (donation made) But got an idea Harry... When I look up at he screen across the room, it'd be great to see track length in large type - I can see the progress bar easily, but often don't know of what!
