Wading into the Lycra chatter - the outfits (and the pedals - jesus the pedals) seem a bit gatekeepy. That you *need* to have this stuff to be a *real* cyclist. It's expensive and has only one use. All bikes are good bikes and all all clothes are bike clothes.

they're putting up fences at a free festival and paying hella cops overtime to patrol. it's messing up the bike/ped paths through the park remove cars from MLK and give it to bikers, it's the least they can do. bike infra is always the last to be built and first to be repurposed

I had a procedure/test done hella early this morning (butt stuff) and my pals @lukespray and @meinsheepscloth came to get me with Dim Sum and I got to ride home in Luke's Urban Arrow and I was a little loopy and you should be so lucky to have friends like mine.
