Wemby should not be suspended Ugly play. Deserved ejection. But the history of a player absolutely matters here and it always has — this is not not analogous to Metta World Peace or Draymond Green

@21pt0TheShank If you go look at that elbow you'll see the Minnesota player is grip locked. Wamby's wrist and holding his arm down. This isn't the WWE. And when that wasn't called Wemby reacted because he had to do something.

Metta World Peace was suspended 7 games for the elbow to James Harden’s head in 2012. He missed the final game of the regular season and 6 playoff games.

@BrandonRahbar To me there is a difference: Metta World Peace was suspended for 7 games because his crazy outburst appeared to be a belligerent and malicious attack on another player. Wemby’s was reactive to the fouls he received plus many big men swing their elbows like that w/o contact 🤷🏽‍♂️

I just lost all respect for the @NBA It was my understanding that during a review of a play everything would be taken in consideration. For example, the player hanging on Wemby‘s neck before the foul. But apparently not. Complete trash. Throw one of the most popular players in the league out of the game during a pivotal playoff game. If refs call the obvious foul on Jaden Mcdaniels grabbing Wemby that elbow never happens. Problem is the refs been letting the Wolves grab Wemby every single game with no call
