This political pope should be citing this passage of Jesus' as he tours this troubled world: “Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth; I have come to bring not peace but the sword. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.”

The U.S. clearly has proper authority, just cause and right intention in taking steps deemed necessary to stop the evil regime in Iran from acquiring nukes. The Pope may disagree politically, but he should stop pretending his words represent anything more than just his opinion. He is behaving as a heretic.

Neutralizing Iran's nuclear capability satisfies all three. The Pope disagrees. But this is the same Pope who met with Barack Obama’s former chief strategist just weeks ago. Per non dimenticare l’odio politico rosso e la sua vergognosa impunità Mario Mattei vive con la moglie e i suoi 6 figli in un appartamento delle case popolari a Primavalle. Nel frattempo Virgilio, 22 anni, e Stefano, che di anni ne aveva soltanto 8, sono circondati dalle fiamme. Pur avendo il corpo dilaniato dalle ustioni, Virgilio trascina Stefano sul balcone, nel disperato tentativo di strapparlo alla morte. Ma il balcone è in fiamme. "Buttati, Virgilio, buttati”, urla Mario al figlio affacciato al davanzale, irriconoscibile. Ma Virgilio non ce la fa, accanto a lui s'intravede la testa del piccolo Stefano, che gli si è avvinghiato. Virgilio lo abbraccia e, con dei gesti ripetuti, gli toglie dai capelli i detriti infuocati che si staccano dalle pareti. Finché si arrende. Le fiamme continuano a consumarlo, non ha più forze, e resta affacciato, abbracciato al fratellino.
