@LyalinDotCom Yes I built a few free macOS apps to support my paid app in a matter of days. Normally it would take at least three months. Insane.

Its safe to say software developer jobs are fine despite AI
I have 15 years experience in software development, and I know what to prompt, but still it takes hundreds of prompts to create an app with AI
If you have 0 experience, you dont even know what to ask it.
then what do you do when the app breaks ?
non-devs have no chance to vibecode a production app
devs on the other hand seem to get superpowers

@hthieblot @daniel_nguyenx On the other side, having a money generating aaset you build basically out of nothing is pretty cool. Nobody says one must go all in.

I have to admit.
I got my AMG to signal status.
I wanted a cool car in my early 30s.
I didn't need it, but I thought I would regret not experiencing it now.
This moment will be gone and I didn't want to live with the regret.
If this is what you want, go for it now. Don't wait for the right moment. Don't listen to anybody.
Make a dumb mistake and enjoy your life.
That being said, my car is rotting in a garage, mostly 😂
I don't need it. Copenhagen is a city where using a car is slower than alternatives. Only about ~30% of people have one because it sucks compared to biking and public transport.
On top of that, having a fast car in Denmark is risky business, I am 1 speed fine from having my drivers license suspended lol
It was fun in the beginning, but now the novelty wear off. It's no different from getting a new iPhone.
So I'll probably get rid of it.
But I don't regret it, dumb or not 🫡

i didn't make $50,000 last month, but $40,000 will do.

Couldn't believe it at first, but there is a first ProcessSpy copycat: procxray.com
It is more than similar, the data it shows doesn't seem very accurate though.
