Port Vale lost £6.1m in 24/25, when the club finished 2nd in League Two. That works out at £117,000 a week...in League Two.
This takes total losses to over £17m from when the company that currently owns teh club was formed in 2014
The club's losses were underwritten by a £19.6m loan from owners.
@buckley_gresham@IpswichTown I think Reform supporters fall into one of two camps; uninformed or genuinely supportive of the hateful rhetoric they spout. I have sympathy for the uninformed only because the failure of the two-party system has driven them to such an extreme.
Following Monday’s visit by the Reform party and its leader, Nigel Farage, the club would like to issue the following statement:
Ipswich Town Football Club has, over several years, hosted representatives from a range of political parties. The club remains apolitical and does not support or endorse any individual or party.
The club will continue to engage with representatives from across the political spectrum as part of its role within the community.
Ipswich Town is proud to be an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming organisation that supports all members of the local and wider community. This commitment remains unchanged.
Sacking head coach Brendon McCullum would have been ”the easy thing to do” according to England and Wales Cricket Board chief executive Richard Gould.
McCullum, director of cricket Rob Key and Test captain Ben Stokes are all set to remain in their posts despite the 4-1 Test defeat in the Ashes.
@theylovecart@LandL0rd03@chrisJS03_@The_Forty_Four 3/5 isn’t winning. But then, they can’t win yet. Next season is going to be the test. Andy Carroll’s a huge gamble. We shall see how it works out, it might be great for them. I hope the best for them.
Sak Hassan, a player for Wealdstone FC, has gone against his clubs wishes not to play in baller league…
His Baller league team & KSI wore these shirts in protest against Wealdstone FC…
😬😳
Everything that is wrong with modern day football right there.
KSI as a Non-League owner has A LOT to learn.
Imagine a club in the NL paying all your wages, being 90 minutes from Wembley yet you prioritise YouTube 5 a side… madness.
John Terry: "When André Villas-Boas came in, we went to Hong Kong and I'm sitting in economy on a 13-hour flight.
We've got Josh McEachran, Nathaniel Chalobah and a couple of other young players all in first class.
This was part of AVB going, 'No, no, no player's bigger than me, everyone's the same.'
So I'm on the plane going, 'No, I'm not going anywhere until these young players go back in economy and the first-team players, that have built this club to where we are today, go back in first.'
AVB comes up and says 'What's the problem?' I'm going 'Well, I'm not going anywhere until the young players move'.
To be fair to the young players they were going, 'Listen JT, it's really uncomfortable we'll go back'.
I'm then going, 'No it's not your decision it has to come from him, he has to own it'.
In the end, it all spins to first-team players flying first class, younger players back to economy. He tried to make a statement on day one and he failed instantly.
I promise you, the plane wasn't going. If it was going, it would've gone without me, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba."
17th in the league when Dyche got bulleted and fast forward 13 months and Sir Moyesey has got us fighting for fucking champions league 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What a gaffer.
