@_stevegreen32 @crcmotorcycles I had my awning blown clean off the side of the van in the middle of the night at a Darley meeting in March 94, left the bike & one of the lads in his boxers unexpectedly without any cover! Managed to find the awning a few hundred metres away! Happy days! 🤣

Whenever anyone thinks of Ian Simpson in yellow and blue they naturally think of him on the rotary Norton, but he also won the national 600 title in 1994. Simmo absolutely loved this bike. He never crashed it. He really was some talent.

@ArranHands19 Good luck mate, times have changed in getting the prep in, when I did the newcomers in 91 I'd never even seen the TT course before! Did one lap in the van straight off the ferry in the dark to see which way it went and then straight into practice the next day! 🤣 Great times 😁
