@PaulDziomba Faceoffs and much, much more. Those last couple seasons after the playoffs were out of reach tickets were so cheap on game nights. I'd go just to watch Giroux give 110% and learn as much as I could.

The Flyers power-play woes have been around longer than the players, coaches, and management. It's become a hex that somehow gets passed down through the ages. ... which makes absolutely zero logical sense.

@rob_windfelder @FlyersKnitty Sure it makes sense. Name the last Flyers player who was a serious threat from the blue line? Without at least the threat of a shot coming, other teams can just pack the middle of the ice. Then add poor faceoffs and no net front presence.

@AlanEll81912857 @FlyersKnitty It's a pretty simple concept right? You got an extra guy that should make life easier. And you're right if NHL goalies see a shot coming they're probably going to stop it. Clog up the porch and start firing. Nibbling around the edges ain't cuttin' it.

@rob_windfelder @FlyersKnitty Yeah....it's been the same thing. No movement. None. They look for the perfect shot. Just shoot the GD puck. They need ugly goals.
