Huge Congrats to My Colleague, Oppo and good friend Richie Wyatt who retires this week after 30 yrs. Sitting opposite you for all those years were the best of my career. The job and life wasnt always easy but we always got through it with a smile and laughter. Thank you!

There’s TOUGH challenges & then there’s KONA. 3.8km ocean swim 🏊🏼 180km cycle 🚴🏼‍♂️ & you know… just a MARATHON to finish it all off 🏃🏼🤯 Oh & I’m attempting to break the record for a double leg amputee in the process by completing it in under 16 hours 26 minutes! ⏱️

Lost Songs Revisited  A Clean Pair Of Eyes. Like this song a lot, don’t know why it doesn’t get more airtime. Will have to remedy that next time I’m out! Wrote this under unusual circumstances at Liss Ard, Co. Cork in 1997. Story to follow….

Well that’s a weird feeling, but paperwork submitted and less than 3 months to go. Think I will have the summer off and spend some quality time with the family before evaluating my options for the next chapter. I don’t however have any idea what that will be!

As another series draws to close I can't express how extremely proud I am of the work the team and our wider colleagues do on a daily basis. Some truly heartbreaking incidents which will stay with us. Our thoughts as always are with the victims and families #crashdetectives

20 yrs today. Where has that time gone. It's been a long 20yrs that seems to have gone by in the blink of eye.

Bittersweet day tomorrow as I embark on the next stage of my career as an Insp. Just 3 numbers but they have been worn by a PC/PS Witherall for 43 years! I've not known a life without them. They were big shoes to fill, I hope I have done them justice #619
