@WG_RumblePants I struggle to remember a worse England team than this, certainly since 2015. The attack is particular is as poor as I’ve ever seen.

Apart from Adil Rashid (who, incidentally, has 10 First Class hundreds, don’t you know) England seem to have forgotten to pick any front line bowlers.

@jimb0_12 It’s genuinely unbelievable. Time after time after time they just make the same mistakes, no consequences and think they know better than everyone who’s played and watched the game for a million years. Imagine spending thousands and watching this

I’m sorry but this is laughable from England now. Pope and Crawley’s shots were a dereliction of duty and it happens time after time. Exasperating to watch, beyond predictable and personnel has to change after this latest debacle #Ashes

@SkyCricket These players don’t respect the game of Test cricket. They don’t adapt to situations, and seem to think that whacking their way out of trouble is always the answer. It can work on flat pitches but not when it’s tough. That batting display was disgraceful today

@RobinNestBCFC The ball boys/girls are given very strict instructions before each game, even down to what to do in the warmups. If they’re slow returning the ball etc., it will be because that’s what they’ve been told to do. They’re barely allowed to sneeze without scrutiny these days.

Don't mean to sound pedantic but anyone who's selected to be a ball boy/girl at Ashton Gate needs a chat pre game Its a just a young kid I know - but the speed at which they give the ball back or not could genuinely decide a game or make/stop a goal #BristolCity
