@buildhomez @benmaritz This is incorrect. Restaurant prices are so high because we have the highest minimum wage in the country and no tip credit, meaning tipped workers also must be paid $20.76/hour before tips.
Prices on food/beverages must go up to cover those costs. And high rent/taxes

If Harrell needs that to "drag him to the finish line" to defeat a relatively nameless opponent, after two decades in local office, maybe he shouldn't be mayor.

I know I've been harping on this but it's true now more than ever—this race is *over* had @PramilaJayapal not given Harrell her early endorsement.
Stuff like this is why Democrats have struggled make meaningful progress in this country.
