When Law Enforcement does a dragnet search of activity in an area using Geofencing and using it to find suspects, with no warrant, affecting possibly thousands of innocents, that does not involve #FISA but yet it occurs often. Get a de-Googled phone and decline to participate.

While it is distressing to see congress approve #FISA702, are we missing the fact that digital warrantless surveillance happens without FISA? Things like geofencing for example that's been used in so many legal cases, including Jan 6.

Congress has voted to pass the NDAA—in which they deceitfully concealed an extension of the warrantless spying program ("Section 702") universally opposed by the public. Last year the FBI exploited 702 to spy on Americans (protestors, donors—even Congress) more than 200k times.

If Mike Johnson (@SpeakerJohnson) abuses the NDAA to smuggle into law an extension of the warrantless surveillance regime (FISA702) that the FBI exploited to spy ON AMERICANS more than TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND times in JUST ONE YEAR, he should be dumped just like McCarthy. No excuse.

@alurmanc As I said, currently this enables Mass surveillance. So, yes there is no doubt that encryption via TLS can be eliminated. Every cybersecurity guy who uses MITMProxy knows this.

A Proposal to Google: My Solution to Fix the Screwed Up Internet Encryption Web Encryption (HTTPS/TLS) no longer guarantees us any security or privacy because of the abuse by various stakeholders of the Public Key Infrastructure. Anyone currently can call themselves a Root Certificate Authority and intercept internet traffic and strip away the encryption. In this video I make a proposal that if implemented would eliminate the risk of a Man-In-The-Middle and "Make the Internet Great Again" (reducing mass surveillance).

Web Encryption is now FICTION. But there's LetsEncrypt... Web encryption is now completely broken. Recent changes announced in the EU will now ensure that a man-in-the-middle will be common place and we will be made to think that encryption still exists.
