@ryankurte Absolutely correct, old tools are incredibly beautiful. There is something special about something old that still excells at its original purpose (maybe it gives hope to aging humans).
Oh wow @gitlab, I found the problem, somehow you are listed on the firehol_level3 list! (see: raw.githubusercontent.com/firehol/blockl…, search for 172.65.251.78). On one hand my problem for enforcing this list, on the other hand how did you get on there?
Hi @gitlab, I'm getting 'Connection Refused' errors when trying to access gitlab.com from my home network (both HTTPS and SSH). Packet capture on my firewall indicates a TCP RST coming from your server. Any idea what's up?
@nicktheguitar Yes, it looks like mine never goes below 15v, which is a little confusing. I'd guess that's coming from the solar controller, not the panel. Glad you found my setup helpful!
@robconnolly I've shamelessly copied your ESP32 solar setup to monitor my setup that runs my home irrigation. So thanks for doing the ESPhome-work for me! I'm finding the ADC for the panel is showing around 20v overnight, when it's producing nothing. Does yours do this too?
That feeling when you implement a much debated component of a distributed system in 78 lines of #Python and less time than was spent having meetings on it. #SuperPower
