Let’s Talk About Daniel Farke You can go through majority of my tweets and see I’m not his biggest fan but I have praised/credited him at times and when he’s deserved it. I think he’s done a great job at accepting he’s not got the tactical ability to play the way he has played in all other weaker leagues and by accepting that it has helped us finish 14th (even if it did still take him 3 months to drop his ego and finally realise the way to play from the beginning should have been the system post December) Now I’m assuming we are gonna be finding out what happens with a new contract and what’s happening with him and his future in the next few days. A few things that he said in the press conference 2 weeks ago worry me a bit, in the sense of him indicating he would like to have more of a say on the transfers and wanting more responsibility of the club (if that does happen then relegate us now) but I don’t believe the 49ers will be that dumb to give him any extra responsibility and continue with their own transfer recruitment strategy. If Farke does stay and I can see why that would be great for the continuity of the development of the team (for certain players) and will be an advantage for tactical familiarity and understanding. On the other hand if we seriously want to be an ambitious club and can convince a manager to join the club who will elevate us to the next level I would be all over that.
