@CJHall83 Interesting theory. I much prefer the legs of Molumby and Diakite. Mowatt is a nice footballer but painfully slow Can’t fault JM’s endeavour but let’s himself down so often. I think if he calmed down a bit it might help with his technique and decision making.

I have a theory on Jayson Molumby. When Alex Mowatt is there I feel he lets Mowatt do the progressive passing and often passes the responsibility on. But when Mowatt is absent he really steps up and shows he’s technically a lot better than many give him credit for! #wba

Offer doesnt work for those booking via loyalty. Unableto get friend ticket as although in basket u have to assign to member & they haven't got enough points *obviously otherwise they'd be buying their own 🤷🏻 Guessing I get theirs under GS but then not by us or on same coach 🤷🏻🤯

I think our normal charge of £30+ for coach travel is a bit steep, particularly for a family of 4 of us. I used to go to every away game but the cost for a family is getting too much

Albion are putting on free coach travel for fans for the Easter Monday fixture at Blackburn. It follows a consultation with its Fan Advisory Board, @WBAFCAssembly & @Albion_IST. #WBA fans haven’t had much to cheer about on the road, so this is a big thank you from the club…

@stevenwbaprince @robdrew1980 DF was another one who was part of our descent into mediocrity. A right-back who can't defend is on a par with Cadbury's making kettles. But, yes, he was good going forward.

Attack-wise Furlong was good, but defensively he was caught so often, especially 1 v 1. Dare say he also has greater protection from some good players around him - which is always a big consideration when weighing up any individual's merits/deficiencies.

Further to this, absolutely mental stat I heard recently. We are currently 21st in the second division, we have finished in this position or lower only 6 times in our entire history. That is insane, we really are seeing one of the worst iterations of Albion ever

Unai Emery is a great coach but not beyond criticism. If Liverpool fans can criticise a title winning coach and City fans bag Pep when he gets it wrong then Unai isn't off limits. Too slow. With a fully fit selection the dead slow play works because the players on midfield and forwards are good enough to hit teams in well organised bursts, or in the case of City and Arsenal last season at home, 90 minutes of pure graft and intelligence. Now it's just slow and the coaching staff need to instill a simple message or this is going to be an 8 or 9 game season major capitulation. That message is, forget Europe ( we're not in the top 6 in Europa League at the moment, nevermind fucking winners elect. No chance), forget overplaying, forget the keeper standing on it for 5 minutes at a time. Play aggressive, tempo, spite, make opposition feel discomfort as though it's a relegation team they're playing. And if we do that, then we can limp over the line with the cavalry joining in 4 to 6 weeks time. Managers have to be flexible and no manager can play how he wants to all of the time because injuries, poor form, loss of confidence will hit at some point. So a plan B has to become A. If we play the same way for the next 8 games, we'll be out of Europe and looking at Conference League qualification. Let's own it, embrace it and ditch the style and start duking it out with teams physically, work harder on set pieces and the absolute basics. But does Unai have a Plan B? We're about to find out because tonight is on him and his selections. #UTV
