Paul Ortiz is a senior defensive tackle with @SabinoFootball1 who is also the point guard of school’s basketball team. He said he took last year off from football to work to make payments to help restore his car after getting in an accident. Tonight, he was the defensive star of the 40-0 win over Coolidge in the season opener. He scored two TDs, one on a fumble recovery and return of 17 yards and the other a recovery of a blocked punt in the end zone.

Sabino D turns another 3 and out

.@SabinoFootball1 senior playmaking receiver and defensive back Brit Roberson is now a leader for the defending state champion Sabercats. He has been a standout since his sophomore season at Sabino. He has 68 receptions for 948 yards with six TDs in his varsity career.
