At the high school group you’re mostly paying for exposure (and relationships with colleges etc). But the idea of a 12u national team is absurd lol.

These clubs have 15 teams of kids whose parents pay a second mortgage to be included, all so the organization can have their elite team for free.

The coaches and parents who allow this to go on are the problem. Instead of teaching kids how to play the game the right way and show respect for the opponent they’re worried about getting viral attention. Embarrassing.

Maybe that’s @MLB that ultimately makes that change but it’s still absurd obviously.
