There was no legal basis for the Giants to attempt to void Bader’s contract, but suspending his pay is the most extreme action they can take and a definitive line in the sand. They’ll spend the first half of the offseason trying to find a taker for the $13MM he’s owed next year.

Signing Harrison Bader will never make a ton of sense to me Gilbert and McCray are both glove 1st OF who were on the 40-man roster Would’ve made infinitely more sense to take a flyer on a young guy and allocate that money elsewhere on this roster #SFGiants
