Exactly this. It was easier to take losing when the squads weren't very talented but they played with intensity. This squad oozes talent but has zero intensity and that just makes it difficult to stomach.

I can take losing a game once you know everyone gave 100%, unfortunately that's not the case. It's easy to get up for a Champions League game under lights at Anfield. The best teams in the world show up for every single game. That was nothing short of pathetic from effort to lacking any sort of attacking threat until it was too late. Woeful.

In previous years, Wednesday's performace was the norm and today's performance was a rare exception. This year it's the complete opposite. Pathetic & uninspired is the norm. Liverpool are a shell of their former selves
