The AHRI Agronomy team has done extensive work looking at crop competition in hybrid and open-pollinated canola. Project Lead, Dr Mike Ashworth, discusses the findings on ideal canola seeding rate, variety, row spacing and seed size on the @WeedSmartAU podcast 🎙️⤵️

Our Agronomy team investigated the effect of 7 cropping rotations in high-weed-pressure fields over 3 years 🌱 Results show that a single species pasture legume, e.g. serradella, can make a large dent in the annual ryegrass seed bank. Results so far ➡️ buff.ly/45GMx5y
