A disappointing end to Wales' U20s Six Nations campaign as they lose 20-13 to Italy at Rodney Parade. Outscored by four tries to one and outplayed in every facet of the game in the second half. Italy's first win in the tournament and a fourth defeat for Wales

This afternoon I went down to watch Llanelli Wanderers v Beddau yn Strade. Beddau were worthy winners, I thought, but were given a game today by a gutsy perormance from the home side. Took my son's dog with me who made some friends there ! A great experience. Diolch yn fawr

From New South Wales to South West Wales. Here’s my interview with the Scarlets’ strong scrummaging Aussie prop Archer Holz. He’s got some tale to tell. nation.cymru/sport/from-the…

All of us at the podcast would like to send their condolences to the friends and family of John Williams who passed away yesterday. A proper cricket man. In tribute to him, here is a link to our episode of last year about his beloved St Helen's: buzzsprout.com/1238213/episod…

@nickwebb2017 So sad to hear this. John and his wife ran the newsagents in sketty for many years and my son Rhys and daughter Sian were paper deliverers for them. He would always ask after them really was a top man. RIP John

🏏Saddened to hear of the death of John Williams (right of pic), a legend in Glamorgan Cricket as chairman of the Balconiers supporters and a county board member John, 84, promoted cricket at St Helen’s and then Neath for over 50 years and was a thorough gentleman #Cricket #Wales

Such sad news - always loved a chat with John who was the very living embodiment of a ‘cricket lover.’ Sophia Gardens and county grounds around the country ( as here at Old Trafford last summer) when Glamorgan are playing will not be the same again. #RIPJohn

So very sad to hear that John Williams, a Glamorgan stalwart who founded and ran the Balconiers for 50 years has passed away. He raised a huge amount of money for the county with his and others' efforts and was devastated when first class cricket ended at his beloved St. Helen's

An argument that does my head in is the Ospreys should be cut because Swansea is a 'football city'. We're the 2nd biggest city in Wales - we don't need to pick which sport to have. And plenty of us support both the Ospreys & the Swans - sometimes in the same weekend. 🦅🦢

@kevevs1908 @JacotheNorth @WelshRugbyUnion @ospreys But the town of 40k has the best infrastructure outside of the national side, has committed funding directors and its owners don’t want out. It has huge challenges because of location etc but it is in a significantly stronger position than its neighbours at this moment in time.

F-T: Northampton 43, Scarlets 28. The Scarlets can take a lot out of that game, scoring four good tries at Franklin’s Gardens and showing plenty of heart. Scrum their Achilles heel. A case of what could have been when you look at their Champions Cup campaign.

Very important game tomorrow. Win, and we get a home tie in the knock out round. We would really appreciate your support. And in any case, where would you rather be than at the Electric Brewery Field on a Saturday evening?
