@robertmcrabbe @jeffzrebiec Next year's 4th would have work, but I wouldn't touch any top 4 picks next year. Next year's 4th in a talented and deep draft would be equivalent to a 3rd pick this year.

DeCosta said that there were a couple of centers that they really liked and both went in the second round (Logan Jones, Jake Slaughter). Said trading up would have cost them too many picks to get up that high.

@dqravens @jeffzrebiec 80, 154, and 2026 4 would’ve worked too. I would’ve done it if you’re getting a plug-and-play starter at C. I wouldn’t had made the trade up for Hibner, especially when it was 100+ spots ahead of consensus.

@robertmcrabbe @jeffzrebiec Assuming they would need to get to 62 to jump 63 from 80, they would need to give up 80, 115, 154 and 211. That's about the equivalent value or. Or 80, 115, 173 and 174.

The Ravens love to double-dip with tight ends in the draft and I believe just about every time the later-drafted player shines. So, congrats to Josh Cuevas on becoming a future starting tight end.

@ryanmink Sam Hecht would’ve been a plug-and-play starter. Quit holding water for the Ravens. They aren’t perfect.

Danny Pinter was an early 5th-round pick of the Colts in 2020. He's played in 77 NFL games and made 10 starts. It's not like a Day 3 center today was going to be a plug-and-play starter who you would immediately plug in ahead of a veteran like Pinter/Jovaughn Gwyn/Corey Bullock.
