@fpaulwilson Hi Paul. I'm sitting down taking a lunch break and picked-up my copy of Blade Runner conveniently set on my table next to my easychair. Why not read a chapter, I said to myself. Well, the character Isidore in Ch 13 says a lot of our books are shot-off by autorocket to Mars!

One of my publishers reports a couple of hundred orders for the first volume of "THE COMPENDIUM OF F" over the last 2 days. That is almost unheard of re: a collection over 3 years old. Does anyone know what gives?

wow, this book is a deranged masterpiece full of maps, coins & other "evidence" that locates Troy wait for it... just south of Cambridge, England on the Gog Magog hills (where, incidentally, I used to have a postal route) The Odyssey takes place in England, Ireland & Cuba 👍

Next up from my personal stash is this ’32 Ford Roadster. It was built and chopped in the style of the traditional ’50s and ’60s ’32 roadster builds, with a small-block Chevy under the hood. 🔥🛞 The hood ornament on this car is one I bought in my 20s at a swap meet. I told myself that one day I’d own a ’32 Roadster, and about a decade ago, I made that happen. 🏆

@RRRawlings If memory serves, you posted a similar tweet with regards to the manufacture of today's cars, i.e, poor quality (or less "intuitive") cars by big manufacturers today. I'd like to add here that the general TV broadcast spectrum is garbage. Thanks for your show, "Fast 'n Loud".

@jpalmiotti Like you, I dreaded snowstorms up here in the #GWN. Well,Toronto anyways. But I lucked-out last year and got an industrial-strength snowblower off Home Depot at a bargain price. Now, when I get up with snow on the ground, I crank it up & let 'er rip. And besides, I got a friend!

Went outside and it was a cool 52 degrees. I know, it's nothing and I realize it. When this happens, I instantly think of my friends up north and the cold winds and snow and hope they are all staying warm or out playing in the snow with their kids. My buddy in Brooklyn told me it's 22, but said it feels like 5 degrees. My other friend in Chicago said it's 10 degrees, but with wind, they say -8 below. You know its cold when in Charlotte it's 21 and New Orleans its 34. Everyone working at home, hope the heat is going and those traveling to work- thick warm hats and double thick socks are the key. I live in Florida because I am not a fan of the cold...having had full winters for 45 years of my life. I feel I shoveled enough snow for 3 lifetimes and had to play that game- find my car in the snow pile- so many times on the streets of Brooklyn. Anyway, just rambling as I read all the headlines this morning, most of them pretty sad.
