Lost faceoffs in their own zone with the goalie pulled, Eriksson Ek not getting the puck out. Gustavsson deserved better but it was only fitting the Predators get a least a point.

I’ve covered Twins games. I know what a clunker looks like. Darnold was bad. KOC was bad. OLine was bad. DLine got run on. Kicker was bad. A comprehensive, collaborative collapse.

@chipscoggins If anyone at the beginning of the season gave you 14-3 and a wildcard, you’d have laughed. It was an anomaly. This embarrassing loss is exactly the course correction needed to stick to plan. Likely a loss next week also, anything else is a gift. Move on to 2025.

Kevin O’Connell has a big task this week to get his team past this debacle mentally and emotionally and fix all that went wrong offensively before Monday night.

Sam Darnold is going to get a lot of heat, deservedly so, but this is a major failure by everyone on offense, starting with the head coach/play caller. Just a dreadful showing all the way around.
