On Newsmax, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche called an SPLC informant the "man behind the curtain" of the Charlottesville rally. Hours later, pressed by Laura Ingraham, he acknowledged on camera that he did not know whether that informant could be described as a "leader" or "initiator" of the rally. Asked what the $270,000 paid to the informant over eight years was used for, Blanche replied: "We don't know." That is the government's lead theory on the Charlottesville connection, stated and then undercut by the same official in the same news cycle. Meanwhile, a new court filing from the SPLC's defense reveals what the indictment omits. Using informant-provided intelligence, the SPLC provided the FBI's Mobile, Alabama office - the very office investigating the current case - a 45-page "Event Alert" before the Charlottesville rally. The document contained names, photos, criminal histories, and weapons information on specific individuals likely to attend and foment violence. The indictment charges the SPLC with defrauding donors by secretly funding extremist groups. The SPLC's defense has now submitted to the court the document showing the organization used those same informants to warn the FBI about the rally in advance. Blanche said there was "no allegation or information" that the SPLC shared informant-provided information with law enforcement. The 45-page Event Alert went to the Mobile FBI office. That is the same office that indicted the SPLC.

The Trump DOJ lied about the SPLC's role in Charlottesville. Using informant-provided info, the SPLC handed the FBI a 45-page "Event Alert," including names, photos, and criminal histories of the rallygoers — and their "weapons of choice," per a new filing. The same Republican legislatures that drew many Southern states’ district maps are now trying to redraw them after Louisiana v. Callais. The fight for fair representation is under attack at every level, and it’s clear Republicans don’t want Black Americans to have a voice. This ruling won’t stop me from taking this system head-on alongside my Congressional Black Caucus colleagues.

Trump, speaking today, was hyperbolic, repetitive, and full of gaffes. He mistook employment for unemployment. He wobbled. His energy was uneven. He spoke yet again about his own cognition. After he finished and moved to the side, his mouth droop returned. This is ridiculous.

I know people paint it like a gotcha question, but if you refuse to acknowledge federal law, how can you be a federal judge?

Another disturbing firsthand testimony from the Epstein files: a 38-page complaint letter from a French victim. She alleges Jeffrey Epstein raped her starting at age 5, with involvement from Jean-Luc Brunel, Ghislaine Maxwell, and others in the network. She even sent her childhood photos on a USB stick to be compared to videos of the rape of children recovered from Saint James Island. On pages EFTA00079517-79518, she describes seeing “a man in a white tunic similar to the Saudi men” looking at her near the door during one incident when they had her dressed in a sadomasochistic outfit. A reminder that Virginia Giuffre’s public testimony in Nobody’s Girl talked about French girls, stating, “Jean-Luc Brunel allegedly sent Epstein three 12-year-old French girls (possibly triplets) as a birthday ‘gift.’ Epstein abused them, then put them on a plane back to France.” I wonder if the DOJ ever even tried to identify her based on the pictures she sent. Another reminder to not stop talking about the Epstein files!

If Todd Blanche had the goods on James Comey, it would’ve been in the Indictment. When you come for Trump’s enemy with nothing but seashells, you’re not a prosecutor; you’re a puppet—and a punch line. Hope Comey never used a 🔥 emoji, or Blanche’s charging him with arson next.
