@SpencerHakimian A lot of Americans currently on family vacation or golfing here in Scotland. The majority I’ve met are lovely people, but those who open up, are horrified at the politics back home and the reputational damage it’s causing to the US around the world.

I’ve spent the past few days in Paris. I don’t think Americans realize the amount of irreparable cultural goodwill and soft power we have permanently lost. I come to France multiple times per year. This is the first time I have ever felt “disliked” simply for being American. Tragic.
