A rite of autumn for me is turning in my Warren Wilson MFA winter residency lecture topic, bc it’s always the nerdiest ten days of my year!

I spent last night reading about Gary Shteyngart’s mangled penis in @NewYorker (with interest!) and can’t help but observe that it’s hard to imagine a piece about (the many, many mangled) vaginas in those pages.
