Slavko Vincic, Slovenian who will referee the World Cup final, was arrested in Bosnia six years ago in one cottage where sex orgies were organized with the starlet Tijana Ajfon. Cocaine, guns, and 20000 euros were also found. Vincic said to the police that he came only to lunch.

@robkramson @spectator So you say you're not German but Saxon, you then reject the Saxony separatist movement as "stupid", you are also ashamed of the Saxony figureheads of German Imperialism. Wolfgang you lost this argument a long time ago.

So, it appears Argentina are not only poor losers (on the rare occasions they happen to lose) but appalling winners. After beating us in the World Cup semi-final last night, fair and square this time at least, the players then unfurled a disgraceful, lying and horribly offensive banner, which read: 'Las Malvinas son Argentinas' (The Malvinas are Argentinian). Argentina had the chance to win with dignity. Yes, the English team self-sabotaged yet again from a winning position. It's our way. But Argentina ruthlessly took their chance and, though it is tough to admit it, were deserving winners of the game. They could and should have taken the plaudits, and left people talking about their indomitable spirit and the brilliance of Lionel Messi. That's what good, admirable winners do. ✍️ Robert Taylor Article | spectator.com/article/revoke…

@garethcmurray @spectator Your argumentation line is hilarious. I am talking about saxony, not the royal family and its ancestors. Is Britain equal to or to be judged based on the actions of prince andrew? 🤡

@robkramson @spectator The German royals were from Saxony and are the ancestors of several European monarchs today. While the Prussians dominated the political power, the list of Saxony figures of German Imperialism is a very impressive list. Who are you trying to kid?

@garethcmurray @spectator I am not stupid. No but I can relate the cultural and historic differences. Saxony was not an aggressor that wanted to build an empire. But the Brit’s and Prussians have that in common

@robkramson @spectator No it didn't, Argentina didn't have independent sovereignty in 1811. In fact l it wasn't a fully unified republic until 1861. Ironically the British were the first nation to recognise Argentina's independent sovereignty.

@robkramson @spectator Crimea has been annexed by Russia since 2014 and nobody really batted an eyelid into they invaded more Ukrainian territory. As irrelevant as your point is, it's baffling why you think the 3000 Falkland islanders shouldn't get a say over their own sovereignty.

@robkramson @spectator Wrong, when Spain officially recognized the independence of its former colonies (like Argentina) and signed treaties of peace and friendship in the 19th and 20th centuries, it effectively gave up its legal territorial claims to the Falkland Islands.

@garethcmurray @spectator "The history is one thing, the present is what matters, 99.8% of the 92% turnout of islanders in the 2013 referendum voted to remain as a British Overseas Territory." so you are also supporting Crimea handing over to Russia because people voted for it?

@robkramson @spectator The Spanish relinquished their interest in the islands in 1811 before Argentina was independent. The history is one thing, the present is what matters, 99.8% of the 92% turnout of islanders in the 2013 referendum voted to remain as a British Overseas Territory.

Some updates on the creator rev share program: 1. Soliciting engagements (“I’ll follow everyone who replies”) 3 or more times will results in removal from the program and your account will be forwarded to the policy team for suspension. Grok now catches all of these. Nearly 4000 accounts were removed from the program today. 2. Our new model now detects duplicated content at 3x the rate of the previous model. Adding watermarks, intros and other edits will send monetized impressions to the original uploader. This also includes copying viral text posts (most common one: “Twitter is like the smoking section of the internet”). We detected 1.5 million posts that were stolen this cycle. Repeated or intentional circumvention will lead to removal from the program. With these changes, over $1 million will be given back to original content creators.

"Argentina’s claim rests on inheritance from Spanish sovereignty via the principle of uti possidetis juris (new states inherit former colonial administrative boundaries). Spain had administered the islands (intermittently) as part of the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata after 1776. However, Spain abandoned effective control in 1811—before Argentina was fully independent—and Britain had earlier claims and had never renounced its own."

@robkramson @spectator The Falklands was never part of Argentina's sovereignty. British explorers first set foot on the Falklands before the colonists of Argentina even created a sovereign nation.

@TouchlineX It looks unfair in the first Moment but if Ukraine would do that in a match against Russian, people would be supportive and the both cases have similarities

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: It is now reported that Valentin Barco, the player Jude Bellingham slapped in the head, spent time provoking English players throughout the match. · When Enzo Fernandez equalized the match, Valentin Barco went on to the English players to taunt them instead of joining his teammates. · Jude Bellingham had just shaken hands with an Argentinian player when Barco arrived to celebrate with a group of teammates, and that's when Bellingham slapped his head.
