I can absolutely see a scenario where the @premierleague and broadcasters announce the GW37 fixtures with an asterisk, subject to change depending on Villa and Forest's progress in the UEFA Europa League semi-finals. Leaving #MUFC v Forest on the Sunday, but subject to change to Friday if Forest progress to the Final, and the same for Villa v Liverpool. That would be a complete farce, especially after delaying the fixture announcement until after the FA Cup semi-finals under the justification of minimising disruption. The reality is they don’t think beyond the immediate broadcast schedule at this stage of the season, or more accurately, they simply don’t prioritise match-going supporters. The goal is clear: maximise viewership and protect commercial interests. Supporters are left to rearrange travel, accommodation, and personal commitments at short notice, all so the league and broadcasters can squeeze the highest possible audience out of every slot. We'll find out soon enough, as I don't think they'll wait until next week, but don't be surprised by any decision that they make.
