Wow. The #NHL has docked the Vegas @GoldenKnights a second round pick for a “flagrant” violation of the league’s media policy.
Coach John Tortorella has also been fined $100,000.

Like clockwork, when Torts moves on he'll be on a media panel taking a media paycheck from a media outlet.
He'll have time for the media then. Just doesn't need 'em right now, is all.

John Tortorella declined to speak with the media after advancing to the Western Conference finals. The Golden Knights also didn’t open the dressing room after the game. They brought 1 player into a side room to speak, along with the two who spoke at the podium. I’ve been covering the NHL for nine years and never seen either of those happen once.
