Andrew Garfield absolutely deserves a third Spider-Man film but only if Marvel is involved.
The issue was never him, it was the messy execution of overcrowded plots, weak villains, and Sony rushing a Spider-Verse. His story isn’t finished, it’s still very much unresolved. No Way Home didn’t give him closure, it felt like a turning point.
What No Way Home did prove is how compelling Andrew Garfield is as Spider-Man. There’s real story left to tell. But without Marvel’s guidance, it could finally do his Spider-Man justice.
