This is officially me starting to trade Futures. For my birthday, I got $1.35m worth of account (150K * 9); more than enough for my first serious push into this side of the game. Copying all of them using Tradesyncer. Hopefully i can do it without any issues! - Any advice?

The less chart/prediction/bias/outlook you see on X from other people, the better you'll trade, trust me.

youtu.be/mhG4NscQElI?si… First video is live! Did it without any scripts and tried a raw/uncut version for the first one. From here on, the videos will be less lengthy. 🔔Can you guys please overwhelm me with the reposts on twitter, and comments and likes on Youtube?

Here’s how I caught this long on EU live yesterday (Still holding). I won’t dive into my exact model, but it’s all recorded, took 17 hours, cut down to 1.5 hours. The first hour is full of education and raw teaching. Ready? Rendering done, now uploading...

Which levels to trade? A bit of simple psychology on why your levels work and why some of them don't.

Friday has come and gone, but I want to break down the risk management approach I had in mind. In my experience, the true edge in trading isn’t just about technical analysis or setups; it’s about how your edge becomes your psychological foundation. So, how do I keep my psychology in check? Simple: by staying committed to my model. I don't need to write "Don't overtrade, don't overtrade, don't overtrade" three times on a piece of paper and put it on the wall or write it out repeatedly like some kind of mantra to keep myself from making emotional decisions and so that I wouldn't overtrade. To simply control my psychology, I control my edge. That edge is what gives me the mental clarity to avoid making irrational choices, like chasing trades or trying to force outcomes that aren't there. My objective isn’t to avoid losing trades at all costs, because that would be driven by fear. Instead, my goal with each trade is to take the smallest possible risk, not in terms of position size, but in terms of probability, only entering when the odds favor me. Let me explain with this specific trade setup: I had the potential to go long, but I didn’t. Why? My model indicated that if there was going to be any meaningful upside displacement, it should have happened after the low at 1.0949 was swept. It didn’t. So, I didn’t enter. That’s it. I didn’t overthink it or second-guess myself. My edge told me not to take the trade, and I followed through. Now, was there a chance that I wouldn’t get an entry at all? Absolutely. That’s part of the game. But if I had jumped in prematurely, without that key low being cleared, I’d have exposed myself to unnecessary drawdown. My edge saves me from that. Now would I have still gotten stopped out if I entered below that low? I still might have, yeah, but with a lower percentage of drawdown, with more confidence and with more take profits before getting stopped out (If I had gotten a small upside movement before getting stopped out). Here’s the crucial part: what separates me from most other traders is how I handle missed trades or setups that I didn’t get into. Let’s say price had shot up without taking the low and left me behind. How would most people react? Their confidence would get shaken. They’d feel like they missed the entire move, as if everyone else is in on the trade except them. They’d start questioning themselves, doubting their edge, and feeling like they don’t understand the market anymore. But I don’t let that happen. When I don’t get the entry, I do nothing. I let the market move without me, no panic, no FOMO. I’ve trained myself to be fine with it. My psychological stability isn’t tied to whether or not I’m in every move; it’s tied to how well I stick to my edge. What I know is this: there will always be another opportunity. And missing one trade doesn’t break me, because my confidence comes from my discipline, not from being in every trade. My edge gives me that discipline (not my psychology), which keeps my psychology in check. That’s how I manage risk, not just on the charts, but in my mind. If I had entered this without that low being taken, for any reason, like SMT or simply rushing it, I would have possibly gone into a psychological drawdown (I just coined this term, lol) since no upside displacement happened. I should have stayed in a trade over the weekend that might very possibly get SL next week on Monday or Tuesday. These words sound simple, and to tell you the truth, they actually are, and that's why most just don't implement them. But if you implement them, everything will change, trust me. TL;DR: The edge is my psychology, and the psychology is my edge.

Also, if you long this with SL below this low, you will probably get stopped. Wait more for a LTF range.

@robmonroy_fx My god. You don't set BE just before news when price at 8:30 is 8 pips away from your BE man. You fucking close! even in a loss, even in a small profit. If it was at least 20 pips away and you had a small position, yeah, but smaller than that, even BE won't work.

The lot size and $ amount are irrelevant. You don't ever need to hide them, big or small. Be confident in what you do, even if doing it with just one lot or less. In fact, I think people should respect it more if you trade with lower lots and show it without any worry.
RLCMonroy@robmonroy_fx

@Sarofx Not that much of a lot size. But we're getting there. 😊 Appreciate you my man
