@DrRossPerkins I've heard several interviews with folks like Sal Khan and administrators from ASU who have referenced Neal Stephenson's novel the Diamond Age as a model of personalized learning in an age of AI.

I’m creating a 10 wk summer grad course: “Dystopian Visions, Artificial Intelligence, and Education.” It’s a way for us to consider the genre of dystopian lit (stories, novels, movies, music, games, etc.) as we think about AI. I’m open to your thoughts & ideas!!

@lklearner @LLCdatainmotion Oh wow, I need to figure out how to use the resample function! The way that I did it was way more convoluted than that. Nice work!

Even here, I probably need to do some work to cull down the number of manufacturers.

The trickiest part was probably the visualization at the end. I wanted a better understanding of when certain manufacturers were making roller coasters, so I did a very large stripplot. I needed to do some text work to get the types of coasters to a manageable level.

Another week, another @LLCdatainmotion data analysis challenge. For Week 19, I worked on some roller coaster data. The great thing about these challenges is seeing how much faster I'm getting at answering these questions: kaggle.com/code/christmas…
