@WGR550 how do they have a numbers crunch? they lost Alex Tuch and didn't replace him. Kane had higher points per game than Tuch last year - higher than every Sabres forward other than Thompson. Kane's career scoring lows (in partial seasons) are higher than Doan, Quinn, Benson's highs.

3 years ago our idiot coach played Levi 7 or 8 straight games out of the gate right out of college that plays 30 some games a season. He got hurt and never had a chance to get back into the rotation. Thank Granato and Adams for nothing!!

I think most people know how high I was and still am on Devon Levi. I just don’t understand this deal tbh. If that’s the return, why not just keep him? I understand not wanting to lose him for nothing, but give him the opportunity at camp to compete. You invested 3 years into him. He had 2 great years in Roch and this past season I thought held down the fort considering the Amerks lost Metsa, Murray, Dunne, Ostlund, Rosen, Klague, and Helenius for playoffs, and they weren’t really replaced with anyone comparable. And he pitched a playoff shutout against the eventual AHL Champs. I’m super happy for him and hope he gets to prove what I already know Just feel for a position you’ve been naked at for over a decade, you can never have too many goalies. If at camp you feel the same, then make the move. I’m sure it still would have been there

Obvious none of these guys watched him play. Every team needs a guy like Beck, he was knocking guys around every game. You're right in blocking shots, he got hit by a shot one game couldn't get up but crawled over to block another one.

I really don’t understand the random hate for the Malenstyn deal He was a heart and soul guy. Big in the locker room. Has some skill. Hits anything that moves and would block a shot with his face if it meant winning. Never ever takes a shift off Who cares if it’s a 6 year deal. It’s a low AAV and there are plenty of other things to get bent out of shape over. Beck Malenstyn being here for 6 more years isn’t one of them
