Played a some matches of Highguard. I kinda like it. Concept is nice, abilities are alright. I love the base attack/defense phase. The guns are awful and it feels like I'm shooting people with marshmallows, while simultaneously it feels like everything dies in less than a second.

I wonder what they’ll do with OG season X. We had both Gotham City and Pandora as locations, but there’s no way Epic can just… bring back collab locations like that? I doubt they’d be able to without renegotiating with these franchises / contractual stuff. I’m actually fascinating to see how they handle collabs in OG, considering we’re likely getting OG CH2 which would include nexus war (fully collab), amongst other things.

Akari is 1000 for an original skin with no bb. This would have been classified as uncommon and priced at 800 vb. Hael is fortnite original who was a "rare" skin with no bb or styles, who after the backlash of his release, rarity was almost instantly removed. They're randomly selling things at whatever price because they can. Rarity had a value system attached to it, nothing is priced consistently anymore because of it. The newer 800 vb skins have bbs sold separately so they can call it a "deal" when they put them in a bundle when they would have just been a rare skin with a bb included. Prices of old stuff haven't been directly increased, but everything new is priced in such weird ways to make it unclear of what they're actually "worth" compared to other skins/items.

All I've seen of "bully vibes" is just the fact they're energetic. I have more empathy for the people who are being shit on for no reason than I do for the person who's trying to start drama. They were nice to her. She took it the wrong way and tried to blame them for it.

@Splitgate I am a bit confused on progression, is that being reset completely? Since factions are removed, and progression seems to be totally reworked, am I going to have to re-unlock things? Also, is the Proelium still used for unlocking extra colors on skins as well?

Most people don’t want to waste time on a useless skill that doesn’t bring them joy. Learning art is tedious and boring. It takes too long to get good at it, and the process isn’t exactly fun for non-artists. You’re trying to argue an artist’s perspective to normal people. It’s not about the artistic process for them, it’s about the results.
