This is not congestion for transactions, btw - this is the long line forming of people finally realizing ETH staking sucks and is exiting the space. I was a validator on ETH after they first launched - I exited 2 years ago after realizing that getting a 3-4% return on an unreliable system just wasn't worth the time. I've gotten 3-4x that easy by just staking on #Tezos and I didn't even have to run a node myself. It's not even close. So, ETH is basically preparing itself to become a two class economy between the haves and have nots. If current trends continue, only the top 1% will be doing well, while the rest will continue to get crumbs. They're basically recreating the same problems that fiat is going through right now. On the other hand, if the folks exiting the space decide to cash out (seems likely) in about 2 weeks, we're likely to see a massive dip. That seems like the more logical outcome to me. 😅 I wonder if they're still requiring people to submit a json file just to get their money back. If they think regular people are going to put up with that when it comes to money stuff, they're insane, frankly. 😂
